About Us.
Bloom Now was founded by members of the Rahim family, who come from an immigrant background and understand firsthand the challenges of settling into a new country. For our family, English was not our first language, and navigating education, employment, and everyday life required persistence, adaptation, and strong community support.

As members of the Rahim family pursued their education at Western University, they became increasingly aware of the growing number of international and newcomer students across campus and in the broader London community. This experience highlighted the language, professional, and social barriers many students continue to face, both inside and outside academic settings.

These experiences shaped our understanding of how limited access to communication support and professional guidance can affect confidence, opportunity, and long-term success. Bloom Now was created in response to these challenges, to provide practical, supportive, and accessible programming that helps immigrants build strong communication skills, professional readiness, and a sense of belonging.

Rooted in lived experience and informed by collaboration with educational institutions, community organizations, and employers, Bloom Now is committed to supporting immigrants and newcomers as they navigate academic, professional, and social environments. Our work is guided by the belief that with the right tools, support, and community, individuals can thrive and contribute meaningfully to their new communities.
Over 4,000 students supported and counting.
What This Impact Represents:
As of November 2025, Bloom Now has supported over 4,000 students through language development, career readiness, and community-based programming. This milestone reflects our long-standing commitment to reducing barriers faced by immigrants and newcomers as they navigate education, employment, and life in a new country.
